Activities Guide

The Ottawa Japanese Canadian Association’s Activity Guide provides information on classes, workshops, and activities related to Japanese culture or offered in Japanese by local clubs, groups, and individuals.

It is written in both English and Japanese and can be downloaded from the OJCA website. However, 100 copies are printed and distributed to the Japanese Embassy and various related parties.
It is published twice a year, in early summer and autumn/winter. I have been in charge of the design since 2019.

Spring Bazaar logo

The Ottawa Japanese Cultural Centre (OJCC) annually holds a spring bazaar. Usually, donated items, such as Japanese food and baked goods, are sold. However, this year’s bazaar was an exception, as it was dominated by the sale of Gisele’s estate, to which she contributed as an enthusiastic volunteer.

  1. The items were very valuable and of high quality
  2. OJCC wanted more visitors.
  3. They decided to run a social media campaign to attract more people

So I was asked to create a logo and poster.
