Takahashi Dojo New Website

New Web Site

Takahashi Dojo is a historic place where people practice mainly Japanese martial arts. Established in 1969, the dojo has trained Prime Minister Trudeau and has produced numerous Olympians.

There was a lot of feedback that the existing website was not good, so the manager, Allyn Takahashi asked me to create a new website.

The conditions are:

  1.  It’s easy to upload articles,

    2. You don’t want to spend money.

The current website is made with Jumdo, but he said it is very difficult to use. So I suggested WordPress and introduced various WordPress sites and templates.

First, I proposed a rough wire frame and got approval.

The contents are divided into the following categories:

  • About the dojo
  • News
  • 9 types of martial arts
  • Creative arts such as dance, go, and sumi-e
  • Schedule, Map
  • Gallery

I made it in two days during the semester break. All of the logo marks were traced and created anew.

He and many others were excited about the new site.
It’s a temporary domain, but we plan to move it to an official domain.
